Belial

Belial is a Finnish band from Oulu, Finland. It is active from 1991 and is ended. Its music covers black metal, death metal and punk rock, with a Finnish punk/rock/black/death metal sound.

Style and development

The band begins with a more traditional death metal approach that includes black metal influences. Later releases move towards a gothic rock and punk direction, showing a clear shift in style over its active years.

Belial releases two albums, two EPs and two demos.

Line-up

The band includes Reima Kellokoski on drums and vocals, Jarno Koskinen on vocals, Jarno Anttila on guitar and vocals, and Jani Lehtosaari on guitar, bass and vocals. Jukka Valppu plays guitar on the earlier releases.
