Beautiful Boy

Beautiful Boy is a band that forms in North London and is now based on the south coast of England. The group begins with singer Dane Etteridge, who spends several months writing and demoing songs in a bedsit on Holloway Road with the intention of starting a new band.

Drummer and close friend Simon Goldring hears the songs and encourages the project to become a band. Old friends Joseph Heaselgrave on guitar, Greg Bishop on bass and Tom Beck on organ and keys then join, giving the group a five-piece line-up.

The band spends considerable time in rehearsal spaces, refining the material through a couple of recording sessions before the project becomes a full band entity. Beautiful Boy is in public existence from late August 2013, when it debuts the song Home. It then follows this with a live acoustic version of Begging the Moon.
