Beachfield is a band formed in 2006 by Glenn Thompson to perform songs he had written after the end of Custard, the group in which he had been drummer and occasional singer. Thompson had also played drums for the Go-Betweens until the death of Grant McLennan.

Beachfield plays club dates in Sydney. The band’s first album is Brighton Bothways.

Thompson also plays guitar and keyboards with Robert Forster on Forster’s album The Evangelist, and he appears stage right when touring with him.
