Battle Lines are an indie and electronic group from Leeds, United Kingdom, active since 2012. The band consists of Luke Barnfather, Matthew Bradley, Carly Humphries and Ralph Sayers.

Overview

Formed in Leeds in 2012, Battle Lines make a blend of alternative pop, indie rock, electropop and electronic music. They are also described as working in a “swerve-pop” style.

Releases and airplay

In 2013, the group self-released Hearts / The Walls as a limited 7-inch single. Their music has also been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music and KROQ, among other stations.

Live activity

The band tours and has shared bills with Coheed and Cambria, Arcane Roots, On An On, Vuvuvultures, John Wizards, Fun Adults, Jaws, Sykur, Bosnian Rainbows, Post War Glamour Girls and The Witch Hunt. They also appear at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
