Basic Rhythm is a UK electronic group made up of Don Dwyer and M. Steele. The project begins as an early 1990s breakbeat and hardcore duo, and its output sits within grime, jungle, house, electronic and post-industrial styles.

Background

The act is associated with the British electronic underground and draws on the energy of pirate radio culture. It develops material with a strong dancefloor focus while also moving into more experimental territory.
