Barnt

Barnt is the recording name of German artist and DJ Daniel Ansorge. He is part of Cologne Tape and was also one third of Magazine. He works in electronic music associated with techno, minimal, krautrock, house and related styles, including IDM, industrial techno, minimal techno, outsider house and wonky techno.

He debuts on Magazine with his first EP in 2010. That release becomes closely associated with modern kosmische. In 2012 he follows with “Geffen”, issued on Cómeme’s The Power Of Now EP, and the track appears in many end-of-year polls. He also has a connection with the Cómeme label through this release.
