Bar Italia

Bar Italia are an English band from London, formed in 2019. The group includes Nina Cristante, who also performs as NINA, Sam Fenton, and Jezmi Tarik Fehmi. Fehmi and Fenton also perform together as Double Virgo. The band’s name comes from the Soho café Bar Italia.

Releases

Bar Italia release their debut album, Quarrel, on World Music in 2020. A second album, Bedhead, follows on World Music in 2021. In 2023, the band signs to Matador and releases Tracey Denim.

The group is associated with indie rock and related styles including hypnagogic pop, noise pop, post-punk revival, and slacker rock.
