Bandicoot

Bandicoot is an Australian group associated with 1970s pop rock. The name is also used by several unrelated bands in other places, including an alternative band from Swansea, Wales, an Auckland garage band fronted by Pearl McGlashan, and an alternative band from Kent, England.

The Swansea band is influenced by Radiohead, Joy Division and Talking Heads, and features Gareth Goss on guitar and vocals, Billy Stillman on drums, Lewys Underdown on bass, and Rhys Underdown on guitar, vocals, saxophone and keys. The Auckland group forms while the members are at Western Springs College and later breaks up while they are still there.
