Banane Metalik

Banane Metalik are a psychobilly and punk group from Rennes, France, formed in 1989 and active since then. The band is associated with the French gore n roll and horror punk side of psychobilly, and most of its songs are in French.

Career and releases

The group begins releasing full-length material with Requiem de la Deprivation. It later issues Sex, Blood and Gore 'n' Roll and Nice to Meat You. Its songs combine psychobilly with metal influences and horror themes.

Live performances

Banane Metalik appear as an opening act at the Monsters of Psychobilly festival in Tilburg in 1994. Their stage presentation includes large numbers of performers, along with gore, masks and blood.
