Bailey Zimmerman
Bailey Zimmerman is an American country singer-songwriter from Louisville, Illinois. He is born in 2000 and is associated with contemporary country, country and country pop, with some rock influence in his early exposure and material.
Early breakthrough
Zimmerman begins building an audience after posting a Snapchat video of Black Stone Cherry’s “Stay” while waiting at his stepbrother’s shop. That video attracts songwriter Gavin Lucas, who encourages him to start writing and recording his own music. Their collaboration leads to Zimmerman’s first song, “Never Comin’ Home,” which he shares on TikTok in December 2020. The track gains rapid attention, prompting him to record it professionally and leave his job to focus on music.
Recording career
“Never Comin’ Home” helps establish his profile and leads to his debut performance and a signing with Core Entertainment in 2021. His 2022 single “Fall in Love” becomes a breakout release and reaches No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100. He signs to Warner Music Nashville and Elektra Records and releases the debut major-label project Leave the Light On, which enters the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
Later releases and live work
By 2023, Zimmerman joins Morgan Wallen’s tour and makes his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. His first full-length album, Religiously. The Album., follows and supports an international tour. In 2024, he continues releasing new music with tracks including “Holy Smokes” and contributes to the soundtrack for the film Twisters.
