Badaya Sound

Badaya Sound is a music project from Galloway, Scotland, based in the hills and valleys of the region. It centres on producer Robert Grace, whose work combines digital dub with acoustic sounds associated with Galloway.

The project begins after Grace watches a live performance by Zion Train and starts making digital dub tracks. He then folds in acoustic instruments he has learned since early childhood, creating a style that mixes dub rhythms with local acoustic music and uses the reverb and delay effects associated with classic dub.
