Bad Gyal

Alba Farelo Solé is a Spanish singer, songwriter, DJ and model from Vilassar de Mar, Catalunya. Born in 1997, she works in dancehall, neoperreo, reggaeton and trap latino. She is known for her distinctive use of Auto-Tune.

Career

Bad Gyal begins her musical career in 2016 after uploading a Catalan-language version of Rihanna’s “Work” to YouTube. She develops her early catalogue as an independent artist and releases tracks including “Indapanden”, “Jacaranda” and “Fiebre”.

Mixtapes

She releases two mixtapes, Slow Wine Mixtape in 2016 and Worldwide Angel in 2018. These records help establish her as an emerging figure in the Spanish urban scene.
