B-Tone
B-Tone is a solo act from Berkeley, United States, identified as the rapper known as The BasedGod. The project is associated with cloud rap, hip hop and west coast hip hop, and releases through Front Boyz Publishing. The act is linked with The Pack.
Background
The name B-Tone is also used for a project by Mishel Bitton, who begins work on the B-Tone project in 2003. In that context, Bitton is described as a producer from the Israeli scene.
Recording and releases
After early tracks are developed, the project signs to DJ Acan’s label Synergetic Records. The debut album, Mantra Acts, follows in 2004.
