Background and work

She is known as the charismatic singer of the nu-jazz band Misnoma. As a solo artist, she releases an album titled of that ilk. She plays these instruments herself and processes them with LIVE software.

Style and collaborators

Her recording places emphasis on layered textures, blending electro-funk, ethereal choir parts, catchy melodies and ethnic folk elements. She also uses rhythms recorded at home from everyday objects such as scissors, wine glasses, chopsticks and even her cat. The album features Barcelona-based musicians including Nico from Calima, Esteban Matuke from Clan Matuke and James Reid from Misnoma.
