AUTONOMADS

AUTONOMADS are a Manchester-based UK punk group formed in 2007. They play DIY dub punk and are a five-piece band with a political focus, drawing on punk, dub, ska and reggae influences.

Their lyrics and live activity often carry political themes. They play benefit gigs to raise money or awareness for causes including anarchism, animal rights, veganism, human rights, anti-war, anti-racism, anti-fascism and environmental issues.

They release their debut album, No Man's Land, in 2009. The nine-track record comes out on Pumpkin Records in the UK and Antikörper-Export in Germany. Its packaging uses a folded paper sleeve and a hand-stitched fabric cover, reflecting the group’s aim not to add to plastic waste.

The band describes itself as being for listeners of acts such as aos3, P.A.I.N, Inner Terrestrials, Headjam, King Tubby and Zounds.
