August Actually

August Actually are a United Kingdom folk pop and indie pop group from Nottingham. They form in March 2011 and are active from 2011 onwards. The band begins as a six-piece and is later a four-piece, with each member playing at least two instruments and some playing as many as five. Their live performances include extensive instrument-swapping.

Releases

The group releases a five-song EP, Songs From the Lighthouse, a double A-side single, Werewolf/Vampire, and a debut album, The Forever War. The album contains 11 tracks drawn from the band’s live repertoire.

Live work

August Actually play 50 gigs in total and appear on bills alongside artists including Allo Darlin, Darren Hayman and The Wave Pictures.
