Audiopathik

Audiopathik is a psychedelic trance project from Mexico, formed by Alex Urias and Gilbert Wendlandt. The pair also use the names Acidize and Wilo. The project is active from 2004 and is associated with darkpsy and psytrance.

Releases and label work

Audiopathik issues tracks on a range of labels, including Devils Mind Records, Mass Abduction, Pleiadian Records, Hypnotica, Geomagnetic.tv, Shaman Films, 5th Element Records, D-A-R-K Records, Dark Prisma and Planet B.E.N. The debut album, Global Killer, appears on Acidance Records. The album Over the Edge follows on Pleiadian Records.

Reception and circulation

The project’s music appears in DJ sets and top-ten selections, including those by GOAGIL. Audiopathik’s sound is described as distinctive and is played on psytrance dancefloors internationally.
