Arrows in Action

Arrows in Action is a Gainesville-based group active since 2013. The band forms at the University of Florida and consists of singer and guitarist Victor Viramontes-Pattison, guitarist Matthew Fowler, and drummer Jesse Frimmel, who is a founding member. The trio works across power pop, alternative pop, alt-pop, alternative, and pop rock, with a sound described through influences and qualities including angular indie rock, 1980s-style electric sheen, and melodic pop writing.

The group builds attention through songs centred on melody and personal lyrics, and it attracts a large streaming audience. Its debut full-length album, Built To Last, is released independently and produced and mixed by Dan Swank, a longtime collaborator. The album marks a point of transition for the band and is presented as a record about new beginnings and the next stage of its career.
