Armed for Apocalypse is an American metal group from Chico, California, formed in 2008. Its sound is described as sludge metal with Pantera-influenced groove metal elements, and it is associated with sludge, metalcore, sludge metal, downtempo, metal and groove metal.
History and releases
The group releases material through Candlelight Records and is also listed with Iron Clad Recordings in the United States and Siege of Amida Records in the UK and Europe. It has released the album Defeat, and later work includes The Road Will End. The band is active from 2008 to the present.

Kirk Williams handles vocals and guitar and is also associated with Blood of Cain and Brain in a Cage. Cayle Hunter plays guitar and has connections to The Abominable Iron Sloth, Will Haven, Brain in a Cage and Oddman. Corey Vaspra plays bass and is also linked to Blood of Cain and Brain in a Cage. Nick Harris plays drums and is associated with Red With Envy.
