Archspire

Archspire is a Canadian technical death metal band from Vancouver, Canada. It forms in 2009 and is active from then to the present. The band is associated with technical death metal and death metal, and it is signed to Season of Mist.

History

The group begins in 2007 under the name Defenestrated before taking the name Archspire in 2009. For much of its career, it is signed to Season of Mist, then becomes fully independent in 2025 after raising $400,000 CAD through Kickstarter.

Line-up

Listed members include Oliver Rae Aleron on vocals, Dean Lamb and Tobi Morelli on guitar, Jared Smith on bass, and Spencer Moore on drums. Other names associated with the group include Enchanted Faeries, Shawn Haché and Spencer Prewett.

Releases

Archspire releases five studio albums: All Shall Align (2011), The Lucid Collective (2014), Relentless Mutation, Bleed the Future, and Too Fast to Die (2026). Bleed the Future wins a Juno Award. Too Fast to Die is the band’s first independently released album.
