Aquilo

Aquilo is an English duo from Lancashire, United Kingdom, active since 2013, made up of Benjamin Fletcher and Thomas Higham. The group is based in Silverdale, Lancashire.

Formation and background

Before forming Aquilo, Higham and Fletcher are frontmen in rival local bands in their hometown. Higham plays heavy metal, while Fletcher performs melodic grunge rock. Higham later begins making solo tracks with guitar, and Fletcher also uploads solo songs to SoundCloud. The pair are neighbours, and Higham discovers Fletcher’s music online before deciding to make music with him.
