Anzi Destruction

Anzi Destruction is a Finnish rock musician from Finland and London, born in 1982. He is known as the former frontman of Stereo Junks! and later works as a solo artist. He is also linked with Dead Fun and Plastic Tears.

Solo work

His solo album High Clash Motherf***er is recorded at Chemistry Farm studios, a studio he builds in a 200-year-old barn in the middle of a forest in Finland. On the album, he composes, produces and mixes the material, and plays most of the instruments himself. The lyrics are co-written with New Yorker Rory Winston. Drums are played by Mr. Kunt, known from V For Violence and Salvation, and by Elias Lógren of Private Line.

Style and recording

His music is described as having a bleak sound with industrial influence and a darker noir feel. It is rooted in hard rock, industrial rock, rock and roll and glam punk, with the album’s sound drawing on punk energy and heavy riffs. The first single, Electric, is a new version of a track originally performed by Leila K in the 1990s.
