Antlered Man
Antlered Man is a United Kingdom rock group formed in 2009. The core line-up consists of Danny Fury on guitar, Damo Ezekiel Holmes on vocals, Sam Ray on bass and Oliver Parker on drums. Sarah Townsend also plays flute with the group.
The band members come from backgrounds in various rock and punk groups, and Antlered Man develops that experience into a style built around heavy riffing and more delicate orchestral textures. Their sound combines aggressive guitar work with harmonic elements, placing them within alternative rock and stoner rock as well as a more experimental approach.
The group cites Melvins, Trail Of Dead, Queens of the Stone Age, Dead Kennedys and Doug Stanhope among its influences.
