Antisocial

Antisocial is a United Kingdom project associated with happy hardcore and active in the late 1990s. The name is also used by a punk band from Livingston, Scotland that forms in 1979 and splits in 1982.

Punk band

The Scottish punk lineup includes AlaN “Scottie” Scott on vocals, Gary “Hainy” Hain on drums, Cameron Stevens on guitar and Gordon “Gogs” Balfour on bass. After the group splits, Scottie and Gogs form Bayonet Babies. Gogs later joins The Exploited and also plays with oi! band Bakers Dozen.

Happy hardcore project

A separate Antisocial project in the happy hardcore scene issues several releases in 1997 and 1998. Members include Hixxy and Sunset Regime. The name also appears as Anti-Social or Anti Social.
