Ann Wilson is a singer from San Diego, United States, best known as the lead singer of Heart. Her work is associated with rock and folk, and she is also credited as a flute player in Heart.

Career

Wilson records and performs with Heart and is also associated with a number of other projects, including A Walk Down Abbey Road, Lovemongers, The Daybreaks, Connie & Howie, Connie, The Ann Wilson Thing!, Ann Wilson & Tripsitter and The Amazing Dawgs.

Solo work

She begins recording her first solo album, Hope & Glory, with production by Ben Mink. The album is issued by Rounder (Zoe) Music Group and includes guest appearances by Elton John, k.d. lang, Alison Krauss, Gretchen Wilson, Shawn Colvin, Rufus Wainwright, Wynonna Judd and Deana Carter. Nancy Wilson also contributes to the album.
