Anjunadeep

Anjunadeep is an independent London-based record label set up in 2005 by Above & Beyond. It begins as a sub-label to the group’s parent label, releasing deep trance and progressive house, and later broadens its focus to the deeper side of electronic music, with deep house at the centre of its output.

Label role and releases

The label develops a catalogue associated with trance, ambient, house, electronic and melodic music. Its early identity is tied to deep trance and progressive house, while its later direction is centred on deep house and related forms of electronic music.

Compilation series and A&R

James Grant, the brother of Above & Beyond’s Jono Grant, handles A&R for the label. He also mixes the annual compilation series, working alongside Jody Wisternoff.

Radio show

Anjunadeep also runs a weekly radio show, The Anjunadeep Edition, which features guest mixes from artists on the roster.
