Animator

Animator is a name associated with more than one act. One is a neo-progressive rock band from central Illinois that is active in the early 1990s. This lineup includes Tim Brooks on lead and backing vocals, Jay Hawkins on bass, MIDI pedals and backing vocals, John Hawkins on drums, percussion and backing vocals, Stacey Kreici on keyboards and backing vocals, and Rik Ruzga on electric and acoustic guitars. The group releases one album, Gallery, before disbanding.

Another act using the name is a thrash metal band from Waterford, Ireland, which is formerly known as Heresy. Animator also appears on a Kraftwerk tribute album.
