Angelo De Augustine is an American singer-songwriter from Thousand Oaks, California, working in indie folk. He records under Angelo de Augustine Music and is associated with lo-fi and folk songwriting.

Career

He first gains wider attention with his self-released debut album, Spirals of Silence, in 2014. He later releases Swim Inside The Moon and Tomb, continuing in a style described as melancholic and dreamlike. His catalogue also includes a collaboration with Sufjan Stevens on a single and the full album A Beginner's Mind.

De Augustine also collaborates with and opens for Sufjan Stevens. His fourth solo album, Toil and Trouble, follows as a work built over three years and focuses on alienation, hope, and the search for meaning. The album uses a range of instruments and draws on personal experiences, fictional characters, and historical events.
