Angel Olsen
Angel Olsen is an American singer-songwriter and musician from St. Louis, Missouri. She is associated with alternative country, folk rock, indie folk, indie pop, indie rock and pop, and is also described with folk, lo-fi and dark folk influences.
Background
Born in 1987, Olsen comes from St. Louis in the United States. She also lives in Asheville, North Carolina. Before establishing a solo career, she records and tours as a backing singer with Bonnie 'Prince' Billy and The Cairo Gang.
Solo work
Olsen releases six studio albums: Half Way Home (2012), Burn Your Fire for No Witness (2014), My Woman (2016), All Mirrors (2019), Whole New Mess (2020) and Big Time (2022).
