Anek

Anek is an alternative rock band from Lecce, Italy, formed in 2001. The group becomes better known in 2009 with the release of the 5439 EP and its first single, “Bella”, which plays on several local radio stations.

History and line-up

The founding members are Pete Sandon, his brother Jan Sandon and their friend Dario “Rock-D” Scordari. Guitarist Dave Tufano joins the band in 2006. At the end of 2009, Jan Sandon and Dario Scordari leave, and Loris De Carlo joins as drummer. Some months later, the band travels to London to record new songs for a forthcoming release.

Members

Anek are Pete Sandon on vocals, Dave Tufano on guitar and Loris De Carlo on drums. Former and live members include Jan Sandon on bass from 2001 to 2009, Dario Scordari on drums from 2001 to 2009, Raffaele Quarta on guitar from 2011 to 2012, Giampiero Caliandro on bass from 2011 to 2012, and Angelo Contaldo on vocals in 2012.
