Andrew is a name used by several different musical acts and individuals. One of them is Andrew Sandoval, a power pop artist and reissue record producer from the United States. Another is an Icelandic psychedelic rock act active in the early 1970s, associated with a sole album, Woops, issued in 1973. That recording is described as heavy psychedelic rock with acid guitar runs, English vocals, and additional details such as harpsichord, horns, and prog-influenced passages. It is also connected to Icecross and is reissued as a limited pressing on Breeders Backtrack.
The name also refers to a Toronto-based musician behind the website Songs To Wear Pants To, a Philadelphia hip hop MC and producer who records as andrew and is a member of Sleeping Dogs with Jesse the Tree, an Icelandic psychedelic artist, a Korean-American trainee under WAYF known for appearing on BOYS II PLANET, an artist called Andrew Peckler from southern Ohio, and Japanese producer, composer and DJ Eiji Ando, who is part of TREKKIE TRAX in Tokyo.
