Andrew Bennett is a trance and house DJ and producer from Germany. He begins DJing in 1996 and later becomes a resident at the Trance Nation events. He also plays regular sets in and outside Germany, including at the Space club in Ibiza and at major events and festivals.

Production work

After spending several years as a DJ, Bennett starts producing his own tracks. In autumn 2004, he gives a self-produced track to Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz at an event, leading to the licensing of “Ocean Drive” by Armada Music. He then works on “Language” under the project Hammer & Bennett with two other producers; the track is also taken up by Armada Music and becomes a major club hit, with support from DJs including Paul van Dyk, Tiësto and Gabriel & Dresden.

Remixes and collaborations

Bennett works as a remixer as well as an original producer. His remix credits include Armin van Buuren’s “Shivers”, PQM’s “Over the Edge”, Karen Overton’s “Your Loving Arms”, Leama & Moor feat. Jan Johnston’s “Waiting”, and the Flash Brothers feat. Tiff Lacey’s “Faith In Love”.

He also collaborates with M.I.K.E. on singles including “Into The Danger”. With Rico Soarez, also known as Probspot, he produces “Light Of Hope”, which appears with a Jody Wisternoff remix on Electronic Elements. Other solo releases mentioned include “Menar” and “Heaven Sent”, the latter featuring vocals from Kirsty Hawkshaw.

Label work

Bennett also works as A&R manager for the German label Supra Recordings. In that role, he helps bring out club tracks such as Nalin & Kane’s “Open Your Eyes” and Karen Overton’s “Your Loving Arms”.

Associated projects

He is associated with Hydroform and Friends Connection.
