Andreas Moe

Andreas Moe is a Swedish songwriter, artist, guitarist and producer from Stockholm. He is associated with Phrased Differently and works in pop and Swedish pop.

Early musical development

He begins playing music at the age of 12 after seeing his father’s Gibson Les Paul. At first he focuses on guitar technique and rock solos, drawing on players such as Eddie Van Halen, Richie Blackmore and Yngwie Malmsteen. He then starts his first band, and songwriting becomes part of his work.

Training and career

At 15, he studies at a music school in Stockholm, with guitar as his main instrument. After two years, he shifts his attention towards singing and towards developing a career as an artist and songwriter. By the time he is 22, he has spent years practising guitar, has played at many clubs in Stockholm, and has worked as a session guitarist in Sweden. He then signs to the UK independent company Phrased Differently.
