&ME

&ME is the recording name of André Boadu, a DJ and producer from Berlin, Germany. He works in house and techno, with a style that also connects to minimal, electronic and tech house.

Career

He comes to wider attention after moving from Hamburg to Berlin in 2004, where his work gains recognition from DJs including DJ Hell and DJ T, who bring him in as a co-producer. He also plays clubs in Germany and internationally on a regular basis and makes remixes for artists including Roxy Music, Tiefschwarz and Anthony Rother.

His first solo productions establish him more firmly as an artist in his own right. His first release on the Berlin-based collective and label keinemusik, “F.I.R.”, becomes a club record and marks the start of a run of releases and remixes on labels including Front Room, Souvenir, Rebirth, Liebe*Detail and Saved.

&ME helps found keinemusik in 2009, alongside other Berlin DJs and producers. The collective becomes an important base for his work and for the development of his profile as a producer and DJ.

His music is described through a blend of techno and soulful house, and his reputation rests on both his production work and his DJ sets.
