anarchistwood is a London-based anarcho-punk and punk group active since 2005. The act centres on Emily Flea.

Releases

Its recorded output appears on Ex Gratia Recordings and includes several limited-edition releases. These include Blessed are the Cracked for they Let in the Light, a double album issued in 2008 in an edition of 333 copies; No.36/Door, a 7-inch double A-side single from 2008 limited to 500 copies; Specialisation is for Insects, a 2008 compilation also limited to 500 copies; and Situation Normal - a collection of lies, hearsay and truths of an inconvenient nature, a 2011 limited edition of 300 copies.

Notes

The group is associated with DIY, punk and prank rock. A 2011 observer in Brighton described the act as appearing not to care in a particularly unbothered way.
