Amtrac

Amtrac is the stage name of Caleb Cornett, an American DJ, producer and songwriter from Morehead, Kentucky, in the United States. Born in 1987, he grows up in eastern Kentucky and begins exploring music as a child through keyboard and guitar. He starts using the Amtrac name by the time he is 23 and becomes associated with the American dance music scene.

Career and style

His work is rooted in electronic dance music, with house as a key genre. He is also associated with EDM. As a musician from Kentucky, he plays a part in the regional electronic music movement. He later bases himself in Miami and works full time as a musician, performing at venues and festivals across the country and internationally.

Amtrac performs alongside artists including Diplo, Mr. Oizo, Steve Aoki, Designer Drugs, LA Riots and Kid Sister. His career includes appearances on the festival circuit, which helps build his following beyond his home region.
