Amelia

Amelia is an indie folk group from Uruguay, formed in 2005. The line-up includes Bianca Visconti on vocals and guitar, Ezequiel Rivero on guitar, Gonzalo Denis on bass, and Guzman Risso on drums. The group also records with guest singers from other bands in the Uruguayan scene.

The name has also been used by several other acts, including a pop group from the early 2000s, a singer from Iran, a post-hardcore band from Thunder Bay in Ontario, and a lo-fi DIY punk and indie band from Columbus, Ohio.
