Amanda Bergman

Amanda Bergman is a Swedish musician from Gagnef in Dalarna, born in 1987. She releases music under her own name and also works under earlier aliases, including Hajen, Jaw Lesson and Idiot Wind.

Early aliases and solo work

She first uploads a few demos to MySpace as Hajen, then changes her stage name to Jaw Lesson before moving on to Idiot Wind. Under that name, she releases an EP. Later, she begins releasing music as Amanda Bergman.

Amason

She forms the band Amason and releases Sky City with the group. The album wins Album of the Year at the Swedish Grammy Awards in 2016. Amason remains part of her recorded work.

Albums as Amanda Bergman

Her first full-length solo album, Docks, is released in February 2016 under her own name. It is followed by Your Hand Forever Checking On My Fever in 2024. Her recorded work is associated with the label CowCow.
