Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo is an Indian singer associated with electronic music, dance, EDM and house. He is known for the single “Hear Me Now”.

Career

Alok is a musician, DJ and record producer. He is recognised as one of the more prominent figures in the Brazilian electronic scene. He is named “Best DJ in Brazil” by House Mag in 2014 and 2015, and the following year he is the only Brazilian in DJ Mag’s top 25 worldwide.

In 2017, Forbes Brasil includes him among the country’s most influential people under 30. In 2019, he launches Controversia Records as a sublabel of Spinnin’ Records. In 2021, DJ Mag ranks him fourth among the world’s best DJs, the highest position reached by a Brazilian in the poll.
