All Out War

All Out War are a hardcore and metal band from Newburgh, United States, active from 1990. They form in the early 1990s and are associated with crossover thrash, metal, metalcore and thrash metal.

Formation and line-up

The band forms in the summer of 1991 with Tom Connelly, Sam Carbone, Chris Bozeth and Mike Score. Their first consistent live line-up includes Tom Connelly, Erik Carrillo, Jim Antonelli, Chris Chisholm and Mike Score. Much of the material on the first two releases comes from that line-up. Mike Score, Erik Carrillo and, at times, Jim Antonelli continue to play shows and release material.

Style and activity

All Out War work between hardcore and metal scenes and are noted for crossing over into both. Their sound sits across crossover thrash, metalcore and thrash metal, with a strong metal and hardcore connection. Chris Chisholm is a member of the group.

Performances and associations

The band plays at clubs including CBGB's and Lamours in New York City, The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and The Rat in Boston. They also open for acts such as Deicide, Agnostic Front, Napalm Death, Earth Crisis, Sick Of It All, Malevolent Creation, Biohazard, Type O Negative, Cro-Mags, Madball and Life of Agony.
