Releases

Her debut single, Orbiter, is released through Pure Groove Records. It is followed by Runaway Love, which appears on Fiction Records and receives airplay across the UK, including entry to the BBC Radio 2 A-list. An acoustic EP is recorded live at Toerag Studios. Her debut album, Seven Rainbows, is produced by Dan Carey, who also works with Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip and Lily Allen.

Recognition and coverage

In early coverage, The Guardian describes Orbiter as showing her voice through a power-pop chorus and names her as one to watch. In October 2010, she is shortlisted for Q magazine's Next Big Thing award.

Live activity

Gold tours with Eels, Athlete, Band of Skulls, Noah and the Whale and The Twilight Singers. She also has support slots with The Dears and The Bookhouse Boys, and appears at festivals including Glastonbury, V Festival, T in the Park, Jodrell Bank Live, Kendal Calling and Cornbury Festival.
