Alexandra Savior
Alexandra Savior McDermott is an American singer-songwriter and recording artist. She is originally from Portland, Oregon, and is born in 1995; she is also associated with Los Angeles. Her work is described as alternative rock and indie rock.
Early life and background
Savior is born on June 14, 1995, and attends school in the Portland metropolitan area. She first becomes interested in songwriting at 14, partly inspired by her older brother, who is also a musician. While at school, she stands out in attitude and appearance from many of the other female students, has social difficulties, and changes high schools. She graduates from high school in June 2013.
Career
She first attracts public attention in September 2012, when Courtney Love spots her rendition of “Big Jet Plane” on YouTube and praises her as someone likely to become very successful. By April 2013, she has done some modelling work for Erin Fetherston and says that she hopes to release her first album soon.
Her debut album, Belladonna of Sadness, is released by Columbia Records. Her second album, The Archer, is released by 30th Century Records.
