Alexandra Kay
Alexandra Kay is a contemporary country, country and country pop singer from Waterloo, Missouri. She begins her entertainment career at a young age, booking commercials and doing voice-over work before appearing in multiple musical theatre productions. In 2011, she competes on American Idol, and later starts her country music career independently at 22.
She builds an audience by posting cover versions of 1990s country songs on her Facebook fan page, where her performances go viral repeatedly. Her following expands across social media, including more than 2 million Facebook followers, 425,000 Instagram followers, more than 3.6 million TikTok followers and more than 303,000 YouTube subscribers. Her videos generate millions of plays each week, and her music reaches more than 100 million combined streams on Spotify and Apple Music through independent releases.
Kay records and releases songs including Dive Bar Dreamer, I Kinda Don’t, All The Cowboys, We Wouldn’t Be Us, How Do We Go, Tall Boys, That’s What Love Is, Skip This Part, Backroad Therapy, I Hate Airplanes and Easy. She is said to have a voice reminiscent of Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss and LeAnn Womack.
Her collaborations include Randy Travis, Tim McGraw and Scott Stapp of Creed. She joins Tim McGraw, Russell Dickerson and Brandon Davis on the McGraw Tour 2022, and also shares stages with Tracy Lawrence and Clay Walker in 2022. She makes her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2022, performs at C2C in London in 2023, and headlines a sold-out show in Manchester. She also heads the Backroad Therapy Tour 2 across Canada and the United States, which sells more than 10,000 tickets, and the Dive Bar Dreamer tour presented by Miller Lite.
Her debut album, All I’ve Ever Known, is released through BBR and Sony BMG Nashville.
