Albany

Albany is a group active since 2008. The name is also used by Alba Casas, a singer and songwriter from Gerona, Spain, who is raised in Granada and performs under the name Albany.

Albany becomes known in 2018 after recording “Nadie”, a song with a sad atmosphere produced entirely by DRIP 133, from the American label TeamSESH, associated with BONES. She works with artists from the Spanish urban music scene including Young Beef, Kaydy Cain, La Zowi, Cecilio G and Goa, among others. She appears in magazines such as Vogue, El País and Vein Magazine, and performs at Primavera Sound Festival in 2019.

Her influences include pop, pop rock, R&B, flamenco, hip hop and soul. She rejects the trap label and describes her style as “just music”.
