Alan Tyler is a country singer and songwriter known for his work with The Rockingbirds and with his own group, Alan Tyler & The Lost Sons of Littlefield.

After The Rockingbirds split in 1995, he releases material with Sean Read under the name Famous Times on Heavenly, including a single and an EP. He then makes four albums across solo work and releases with Alan Tyler & The Lost Sons of Littlefield. The Rockingbirds reform in 2008.
