Alan Grant is a comic book writer from Bristol, United Kingdom, born in 1949 and died in 2022. He is also associated with jazz broadcasting and presentation work in New York City. During the 1960s, he hosts the radio programme Jazz Profiles on WABC-FM and works as a record annotator, concert emcee and awards-show emcee. He is known as an all-round supporter and broadcaster for jazz, and later lives in New Zealand after retiring.
