Ajimal

Ajimal is a British music project associated with Fran O’Hanlon, from Newcastle in the United Kingdom. The project uses different musicians and performers in its recordings, depending on the effect O’Hanlon wants to create.

Background

O’Hanlon begins writing his own songs while at university. After graduating, he stays in London to work and perform.

Releases and collaborations

Ajimal releases its first album in 2015 and follows it with As It Grows Dark / Light in 2020. O’Hanlon also performs alongside Kathryn Joseph, Lucy Rose, Loney Dear, Lanterns on the Lake, The 1975 and Nadine Shah.
