Ainslie Wills

Ainslie Wills is a Melbourne-based Australian singer and songwriter whose work sits within indie pop, pop and indie. She begins developing her musical skills at a young age by playing along with songs she likes, then moves from her rural home in Albury to Ballarat after high school to study for a diploma in music and perform regularly at local venues.

After completing that diploma, she is accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, where she studies under Julie O'Hara and learns jazz and improvisation. Although she spends much of her time studying jazz, she says her main interest lies in pop and rock music. She also performs regularly around Melbourne.

Her influences range from Dvorak and Wes Montgomery to Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos and the Carpenters.
