Afghan Headspin is a UK bass music group active since late 2006. The act works across breaks, dubstep, electro and house, and is associated with breakbeat, breaks and nu skool breaks.

The group releases on a range of dance music labels, including Skint, Rocstar, Against The Grain and Cheap Thrills. Its sound is described as spanning multiple bass-heavy styles rather than staying within a single genre.

Afghan Headspin works with figures including Fatboy Slim, Hervé, Cut La Roc, Rennie Pilgrem and Shut Up & Dance. Their music also receives support from Fresh, Mistajam on 1Xtra, Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1, Mary Anne Hobbs and Eddy Temple-Morris on XFM, and Jay Cunning on Kiss FM.

Live activity

The group performs at major UK events and venues such as Glastonbury Festival, Glade, Secret Garden Party, Waveform, Pacha and Ministry of Sound. It also plays in cities across the UK and in many countries in Europe.
