Aeva
Aeva is the name used by at least two different acts: one is an electronic musician from London, and the other is a project that begins in 2010 in Sherbrooke, Québec. The Sherbrooke project is described as a solo-led musical blend of metal, fusion, jazz and experimental music, released on an indie label.
The Sherbrooke project starts in mid-2010 after a backpacking trip in Europe. Its creator says metal is the main musical focus, and that studying jazz in music school leads to a desire to combine the two approaches into one style. The result is presented as a fusion of the two genres, shaped by a wish to express ideas through a broader musical language.
That project is also linked with collaboration from Carl Lacroix and Martin Plante, who are described as friends and partners in the work. A contact address, aevacontact@gmail.com, is also given for the project.
